Carta Pixel explores modularity as a universal principle.
Behind every form lies a system of order — a module that repeats, evolves, and builds meaning.
The project originates on a grid notebook page, where each sign emerges within a fixed structure.
From this constraint, an alphabet takes shape through coherence, legibility, and rhythm, with every letter defined by modular relationships.
The digital environment becomes the natural evolution of the hand-drawn gesture. Squares turn into pixels, translating the logic of the module into a more precise yet still analog-rooted visual language.
One letter is intentionally missing: X. Within the grid, its construction produces an ambiguous shape, too symbolically charged to ignore. In its place appears a question mark — a sign that acknowledges the limits of order and the responsibility embedded in form-making.
